Via the E40 motorway you're in Aalst in 25 to 30 minutes from Ghent. The Aalst-centre exit takes you straight to Geraardsbergsestraat. Half an hour off-peak, more like 35 in rush hour.
From Gent Sint-Pieters or Gent-Dampoort, take the direct line to Aalst (~25 minutes, two trains per hour). From Aalst-Centraal it's a 12 to 15 minute walk to the studio.
